The Federal Customs Service began to video all inspections

09.07.2018

The Moscow Regional Customs (MRC) presented the Center for Operational Monitoring of Risk Management. Within two years the system of continuous video surveillance of customs operations will be adopted throughout the country.

The system looks simple: a "picture" from three CCTV cameras (one of which is attached to the uniform of a customs officer, and the other two cameras fix the inspection process from different angles) is transferred to the Zelenograd center, where four employees are on duty.

In addition, by the end of the year the largest in Russia Center for Electronic Declaration (CED) will be launched in full force, which is still working in test mode. Time of customs operations in the CED was reduced by half - from 8 to 4 hours - and it can do even better.
