The FCS of Russia: each inspection in the framework of the post-control replenishes the Russian budget by an average of RUB 2.6 mln

The Federal Customs Service of Russia summed up the results of post-control in 1H 2018: customs fees, fines, and penalties in the amount of RUB 4 bln (31% more than in the same period in 2017) were collected. On average, according to the results of one customs inspection, RUB 2.6 mln were collected in 1H 2018 (90% more than in the same period in 2017).

The number of customs inspections under the post-control was reduced by 31%, and their performance increased to 95%. Thus, from January to July 2018, the Federal Customs Service increased the efficiency of the Customs Control Units after the release of goods, reducing the administrative burden on participants in foreign economic activity.
