China will construct a railway to Vladivostok at a cost of $ 12 bln

China and Russia signed the agreement of intent on implementation of the project to build a high-speed railway Vladivostok-Mudanjiang at a cost of $12 bln on April 19 in Khabarovsk.

The project was developed and will be implemented by Chinese company China Railway Dongfang Group. The project was presented in December 2017 for the first time. Investments into the project will total $12 bln, and the trains will move at the speed of 250 km/hour. The total length of the high-speed railway connecting Mudanjiang and Vladivostok cities will be 380 km.
